Position: Senior Product Leader - Loan Management Team

We’re looking for a seasoned product leader to oversee the Loan Management Team at Possible. In this role, you’ll serve as the owner of

  1. Own the Loan Management System and core systems of record, transitioning them into a first class products by defining a long term vision to build towards, while ensuring we proactively stay in compliance and identifying areas for improvements along the way
  2. Provide an exceptional customer experience that drives repayment and customer satisfaction

This senior, principal-level, product leader has a deep understanding of what it takes to partner effectively with our compliance, ops, biz ops, data science, risk, design and engineering teams to prioritize features and systems that help us achieve the following success criteria:

  • Internal: System compliance, efficiency (cost per operations ticket, speed to reply time/resolution, audit efficiency), and scalability.
  • External: Increase customer satisfaction and repayment rates

What you’ll do

  • Own the active customer experience, including payments, and servicing (in partnership with Customer Ops), and the health of our mission-critical technical Loan Management System
  • Proactively identify areas of core Loan Management System investments in partnership with your Engineering Manager and team.
  • Create and execute a product roadmap that sets Possible up for long term success, delivers compelling customer experiences, and achieves business results
  • Communicate our product strategy, product health, business results, customer insights, etc. to Possible’s Leadership Team and the company (i.e., at all hands) on a consistent basis
  • Partner with Legal & Compliance, Data Science, and Customer Operations to manage state-level audits, health checks, and reviews with our banking partners
  • Increase the efficacy of our product development processes by introducing industry best practices

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience in financial services or fintech; 5+ years of experience in platform or system-level product management
  • A balance of customer focus and technical prowess - diving deep into critical systems while thinking broadly about product strategy and the customer experience
  • Experience building quality guardrails and monitoring tools that ensure intent meets execution in practice, specifically around amortization
  • Strong reputation for managing the product development processes with discipline and efficiency
  • Deep sense of ownership and accountability for both the failures and successes of a product, with equally well-developed problem solving skills to calmly tackle any challenge
  • High comfort working in a fast-paced environment (preferably through experience in one or more start-ups)
  • Ability to translate customer insights into product features and coherently communicate detailed requirements to Engineers and Product Designers
  • Strong project management experience; must have the capability to spot and remove dependencies across functions and help the team execute with speed and efficiency
  • Proven success in working within industry regulations while delivering creative solutions
  • Passion for serving customers and driving positive societal change

Location and Benefits:

We prefer people located in Seattle or the San Francisco Bay area, or those willing to travel to those locations on a regular basis.

We offer a competitive salary range of $192,550 to $224,700 annually, with significant equity potential, based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and a remote work environment.
