The Remote Sales Specialist meets with and educates prospects on the benefits of solar power and energy efficiency upgrades from PosiGen. The Remote Sales Specialist meets with customers who have expressed interest in affordable, clean energy, satisfies customer concerns to move their project forward, signs all necessary documents, and guides them to ultimately complete the solar install.
This is a remote home-based hourly position with significant, uncapped commission potential. Ideal candidates will be located in LA, MS, NJ, PA, CT, MA, RI.
Essential Job Functions
Speak with existing customers about PosiGen’s clean energy solutions to keep them on track for completion of installation and activation
Meet and exceed all monthly retention goals
Collaborate with Sales and Operations to satisfy and solve customer issues
Be prepared for live transfers for presenting solar options
Help prospects to execute documents and provide the necessary information to go solar
Present requirements and complete documents when additional scope of work is required
Provide a high level of customer service throughout the customer’s lifecycle
Actively contact happy customers for referral opportunities
Works with sales leadership in order to provide feedback of the customers main concerns, identifies learnings, and best practices to minimize future issues.
Overtake opportunities that are not yet installed, but sold with a salesperson no longer with PosiGen to guide them through the process until installation is complete
Other duties as assigned
Must be flexible and able to work weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
Education/Experience
Four-year college degree preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Two or more years Solar Sales Experience (either Inside or Outside Sales), experience with PosiGen preferred
Demonstrated success in a quota-driven solar sales position, with a demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding required metrics
In-Home sales experience preferred
Proven experience resolving customer complaints surrounding the sale, implementation or project management of goods or services
Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred
Salesforce experience is a plus
Bilingual is a plus
