The Role: We are recruiting an effective, impactful Brand Protection Manager to lead intellectual property protection and assertive, persistent enforcement in China (with potential to lead throughout our APAC-region). Our Manager will be based in China and will work closely with PopSockets executives based in Shanghai, investigators, litigators, and vendors throughout China, and Global Brand Protection team, CEO, President, and General Counsel. Factories producing infringing products and enforcement in online marketplaces are top priorities.
Vigilantly support China, and Worldwide, sales.
Lead and expect clear, direct, timely communication between investigators, litigators, and company executives.
Execute strategy to identify and take swift, forceful action against infringing factories who ship products within China and Worldwide.
Execute strategy to build relationships with online marketplaces and effectively enforce PopSockets' intellectual property.
Unite a top performing investigator, litigation, and vendor China team to protect our brand and enforce our legal rights.
Crisply report contributions, action items, and enforcement performance (focused on factory and online enforcement).
Excellent written and spoken Mandarin and English
Three years’ experience with Customs, Police, other Law Enforcement Agencies Or Brand Protection leadership roles with a global, world-class brand
Understanding of intellectual property enforcement step and options
Knowledge of anti-counterfeiting legislation and law enforcement practices
