The Opportunity:

As a Senior IT Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing our IT infrastructure and ensuring its seamless operation. You will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, networks, and other critical IT assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and end-user devices. 
  • Work with a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise. 
  • Design, implement, and maintain IT systems and procedures to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. 
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and installations to minimize downtime and enhance functionality. 
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. 
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to safeguard data and ensure business continuity. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess IT needs, recommend solutions, and implement technology initiatives aligned with business objectives. 
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for their integration into our IT environment. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including data privacy and security requirements. 
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving escalated issues in a timely and efficient manner. 

  Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, ITIL) preferred. 
  • Proven experience (5 years) in a senior-level IT administration role, with a track record of successfully managing complex IT environments. 
  • Strong expertise in systems administration, network administration, and cybersecurity principles. 
  • Proficiency in administering Windows and MacOS operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). 
  • Experience with IT infrastructure automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to IT management. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing priorities effectively.
