The Opportunity:

Poppulo, is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Website Developer to join our dynamic team. As Senior Website Developer you will play a pivotal role in advancing our digital presence. Leveraging your expertise, you will lead the development of our web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities:  

Full Stack Development: 

  • Lead the end-to-end development of web applications using React.js, Node.js, and Next.js. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
  • Troubleshoot interface software and debugging application codes.   
  • Develop and maintain frontend components, ensuring an exceptional user interface. 
  • Monitor and improve front-end website performance.  
  • Develop and implement back-end code in Node.js to support our Sanity.io CMS  
  • Document application changes and developing updates.  
  • Integrate third-party platforms to the websites through APIs  

Technical Leadership: 

  • Mentor and guide junior developers, prioritizing their workload and fostering a culture of continuous learning. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for adoption. 
  • Drive recommendations on future tech stacks and implementations  
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Director and team to prioritize and schedule development updates, - demonstrating impact and optimizing for performance 

Tool and Framework Proficiency: 

  • Manage the development, optimizations and continuous improvement and updates of the global Poppulo.com website  
  • Experience working with Vercel for deployment and Sanity.io for content management. 
  • Utilize your expertise in other relevant technologies and tools within the development stack. 
  • Manage Hubspot website integrations, such as Forms and Workflows.  

Quality Assurance: 

  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and debugging. 
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and optimize performance 

Reporting 

  • Drive regular website reporting, reviewing metrics, KPIs and optimizations – providing regular insights 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience (6+ years) as a Full Stack Developer and team lead, preferably in a SAAS environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record of successful web application development projects.
  • Experience working as a React.js Developer  - Knowledge and experience working with REACT tools including React.js, Next.js, Webpack 
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.  
  • Proven experience with PHP and Node.js  
  • Experience working with headless CMS such as Sanity  
  • Strong understanding of frontend and backend development principles. 
  • Experience optimizing code and page speed to meet Google Core Web Vitals standards  
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices   
  • Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.   
  • Experience working with HubSpot  
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and reporting tools including Google Data Studio and Funnel.io  
  • Creative, enthusiastic, flexible, and collaborative  
  • Familiarity with design system and componentization concepts  
  • Excellent data analysis skills  
  • Strong project management and organizational skills    
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skill
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Experience graphic software tools such as Sketch, Figma and Photoshop is beneficial
