The Opportunity

We’re looking for a senior Social Media Manager to drive our social media presence. Working within the marketing team, you will have the opportunity to grow our social presence and share of voice by amplifying our brand message through thought leadership and promoting Poppulo’s points of view. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Social strategy: Own and manage the FWI and Poppulo organic social strategy, raising the profile of our brands as thought leaders globally & growing the online channels (followerships & engagement).
  • Content creation & management:  Deliver high quality content for social media activities including sourcing and repurposing content as well as  working with our design team to create social assets. Manage social calendars across all social channels.
  • Campaigns: Support campaigns, digital activations and event promotion through social media.
  • Community Management: Be the voice of the brands, and espouse our values, in virtual communities and social media channels listening, monitoring and encouraging conversation.
  • Employee Advocacy: Create and curate brand and industry content that resonates with employees and drive employee advocacy software usage across the business.
  • Measurement and reporting: Report on social channel and campaign success as well as general social listening. 
  • Influencer Marketing: Help execute, optimize and leverage influencers as part of global marketing campaigns or as standalone pieces of content. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest benchmarking and social media trends research and analysis.

Candidate Expertise required

  • 5+ years Social Media Experience 
  • BSc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field
  • 3+ years experience running social media accounts for a large commercial business
  • Proven Community Management Experience 
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience managing social media brand awareness and lead generation campaigns
  • High quality standards and attention to detail
  • Strategic mindset - willing to push campaigns and social media strategy for business success
  • Highly collaborative and able to thrive in a geographically distributed environment
  • Innovative approach to social media and keen to try out new trends and industry best practice 

Our ideal candidate will also:

  • Experience in running B2B, SAAS and/or Enterprise advertising campaigns 
  • Asset creation skills including images, GIFs and videos 
  • Agency partner relationship management experience 
  • Able to collaborate with diverse groups in a cross-functional organisation to bring consensus on decisions.
