Ponto is building the financial infrastructure to power the next generation of wallets, banks, and financial services by integrating local economies into the global financial system. We are looking for a Sales Director to help introduce Ponto to the world. The Sales Director will identify leading Web2 and Web3 targets, secure customer relationships and ensure the best onboarding experience in the industry.  Along with the Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead sales efforts on a global level, starting with an initial focus on the US, Canada and the EU. You will work closely with Product to provide feedback to further customize and enhance our dev friendly API solution.  You will also work closely with Marketing to help communicate the benefits of Ponto and generate awareness and inbound interest.

Web3 experience and familiarity with leading wallets and NFT marketplaces is ideal.

In your role at Ponto, you will:

  • Identify the best Web2 and Web3 customers
  • Connect with decision makers at these organizations and identify ways to enhance the customer’s business
  • When there is strong alignment, secure customer commitments to take advantage of Ponto APIs
  • Handle the closing of the API agreement with support from the Legal team
  • Lead the customer through the initial steps of the pipeline and create the best customer onboarding experience
  • Share feedback with Product to help further evolve our product
  • Share feedback with Marketing to help enhance our website and educational materials
  • Attend events and conferences as deemed helpful to establish yourself and Ponto in the Web3 community


  • At least 5-7 years experience in business development or strategic partnerships
  • A strong sense of curiosity about people and products
  • Extensive knowledge and excitement for Web3 products and people
