Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of People Strategy to oversee the HR Business Partner (HRBP) function in our US office, with a primary focus on supporting the Go-to-Market (GTM) leaders, as well as fulfilling generalist responsibilities ensuring the effective implementation of HR initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the business and its objectives to provide expert HR guidance across all people-related areas, including people management, performance management, organizational design, and leadership development. The Director of HR will work closely with senior leaders as well as their global counterparts on the HR team to drive HR initiatives that align with business strategies and foster a positive, high-performing work environment. This role reports to the Chief People Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Initially serve as the primary HR Business Partner for GTM leaders, offering strategic and tactical HR support on workforce planning, talent development, performance management, organizational design, and employee engagement.
- Lead the development and expansion of the HRBP team, to effectively support multiple business units. Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure the team delivers strategic value across the organization.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s GTM strategy, structure, and objectives to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and business goals.
- Drive the implementation of performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of continuous feedback and development.
- Partner with leaders to address employee relations issues, mitigate risks, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Lead organizational design efforts, ensuring that team structures are optimized for performance, growth, and scalability.
- Work closely with leaders to identify and address talent gaps, develop succession plans, and ensure the development of high-potential employees.
- Provide leadership and guidance during periods of organizational change, helping teams adapt and thrive in evolving environments.
- Ensure that HR policies and practices comply with relevant labor laws and best-in-class HR standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree or HR certification a plus.
- 8+ years of HR experience, with a focus on HRBP and/or generalist roles, including leadership of HR teams.
- Strong business acumen and experience partnering with senior leaders in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of driving HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Expertise in performance management, organizational design, and talent development.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment with a strong focus on delivering results.
