Enterprise Sales Associate

About this role

Are you a highly motivated, self-starter who can develop positive relationships? Would you like to use your market knowledge to make a difference day in and day out for retirement savers? Pontera is seeking an Enterprise Sales Associate to become part of our Enterprise Sales team. Our enterprise team establishes relationships with financial advisors and wealth management firms to deliver Pontera’s Held-Away OMS platform to drive AUM growth for financial advisors, all while providing a more holistic investing experience for retirement savers.

Primary Responsibilities:

In partnership with our Strategic Account Executives, the Enterprise Sales Associate will work within a defined territory to effectively execute a business plan to drive interest in the Pontera offering from Financial Advisors. The Enterprise Sales Associate will maintain a high level of client connectivity and represent the most comprehensive retirement investment offering in the industry.

  • Proactively position and differentiate Pontera and our platform against competitor firms and other strategies to Financial Advisors
  • Build an efficient and thoughtful strategy to maximize engagement and influence from advisors
  • Expand existing advisor support by uncovering teams with substantial held away asset opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities by client profiling, lead identification, and follow-up activity
  • Exhibit high-level market knowledge and ability to converse with financial advisors on investment solutions and current economic and market conditions
  • Embrace the firm’s commitment to the client experience and exceed client expectations
  • Partner with colleagues across the organization to improve the Pontera/Advisor relationship

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record of top performance
  • 5 years of professional business development experience in WealthTech, Retirement Tech, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or SaaS required 
  • World-class communicator (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Excellent relationship builder, capable of winning buy-in from internal and external stakeholders
  • A good person. Someone who wants what is best for the team, cares about their clients, and will be a friend, mentor and coach to teammates at Pontera
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and process-driven
  • Self-starter with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
  • A sense of urgency and professional persistence, capable of bringing deals to a close
