DESCRIPTION

Pontera is seeking a Senior Strategic Relationship Manager (SRM2) to own the onboarding, maintenance, and expansion of key relationships with Enterprise partners. The ideal candidate has experience driving revenue for a product or technology provider in the Financial Services industry through channel partnerships, key account relationships, and outbound sales strategies. The role is highly strategic, and involves coordinating firm resources across marketing, pre and post sales, product, and customer success to drive adoption, avoid churn, and ultimately delight our enterprise clients. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own relationships with C-level executives and senior decision makers at partner firms, meeting in person when needed at their office or industry events
  • Proactively and opportunistically identify opportunities to expand our business and deepen relationships with Enterprise partners
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success (CS) to build and execute onboarding strategies with large enterprise clients
  • Help develop and refine partner firm launch programs in collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success to build training programs, assets, activities, announcements, and more. 
  • Map complex partner organizations and develop deep expertise of their innerworkings to enable Pontera to drive value to our customers while driving revenue to our business
  • Leverage templated resources to develop custom account-based marketing strategies and materials to support your key partners
  • Effectively stickhandle and triage customer support requests around technical integrations and potential platform issues
  • Work with Customer Success (CS) to ensure partners have the resources and coverage they need to better serve their clients; sharing the voice of the customer and product feedback internally
  • Set partner KPIs, monitor and report on success, run partner quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and forecast channel revenue
  • Coordinate with sales, and revenue operations to ensure a successful connection and integration across Pontera & client systems prior to Enterprise launches
  • Improve channel productivity & exceed growth targets by continuously testing and refining your approach
  • Maintain accurate and up to date notes and opportunities in Salesforce

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ year’s professional experience in key account management, channel sales, and/or strategic partnership management required
  • Former financial advisors have shown to be a good fit for this role
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), comfortable interacting directly with C-level executives
  • High EQ, with a demonstrated ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player, able to coordinate internal stakeholders and gain buy-in
  • Highly entrepreneurial, creative, and opportunistic
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
  • A sense of urgency, persistence, scrappiness, grit
  • Strong project management skills
  • Willing to travel (up to 20%)
