ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Country Manager to lead our growth into Mexico, helping bring the best possible experience and transform the lives of millions of women. You will build and grow a market leading business in Mexico, taking on operational and strategic ownership to build a high caliber team and achieve record growth.

WHAT WILL YOU DO 

  • Responsible for building and scaling Elenas’ operation in Mexico
  • Make Elenas the leading social commerce in Mexico - owning country P&L and accountable for business planning, performance versus targets and milestones
  • Hire, establish team and organizational structures (logistics, supply, growth, etc.)
  • Report directly to CEO and be part of the senior management team helping set the direction of Elenas regionally
  • Support in negotiating key partnerships and business development opportunities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 6-8 years' experience in fast-paced, high-intensity environments - e.g. early stage / high growth startups (e.g. as Founder /Cofounder or C-Level), top-tier management consultancy and/or investment banking firms
  • You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig deep into complex problems 
  • Have been accountable for a P&L: responsible for headcount, budgeting, setting and meeting financial targets 
  • Experience of managing larger teams or multiple business functions
  • Ideally, experience of taking a product to market and strong negotiation skills
  • Significant time spent living and/or working in Mexico
  • Highly numerate and articulate; strong academic background from top-tier university
  • Entrepreneurialism, drive and passion for scaling a business and transforming the life lives of women and small entrepreneurs in the region
