We’re looking for a customer-centric, data-led social media manager who can help grow Pollen into an iconic brand for travel and music lovers. You will love this role if you are passionate about connecting brands with consumers in authentic and relevant ways and using social as your platform, voice, and listening tool. You should be able to think strategically about your target demographic and the technology platform you’re designing content for. You will be responsible for defining an editorial strategy, driving overall channel growth, and owning the day-to-day management of @Pollen on IG, FB, and TW.

We have partnerships with major Artists and Celebrities like J Balvin, Da Baby, Ozuna, The Streets, Brett Young, Beastmade and more, with trips planned in Amsterdam, Ibiza, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Miami, Cancun, Cabo, and more.

In the first 12 months you will:

  • Create and implement the programming and channel strategy for Pollen’s owned social handles (IG, FB, and TW), centering focus on our defined audience segments and business priorities of building brand engagement and supporting campaign sales
  • Monitor social chatter, trends, seasonality, events relevant to target audience, and campaign launches to identify and act on moments that organically engage audiences
  • Partner with Creative Production to develop content experiments that intelligently use native features like IG TV, Live, trending stickers, etc to optimize content performance, while never losing sight of target audience and brand attributes
  • Test and innovate content formats that can be turned into repeatable formats or “series”
  • Track, analyze and produce a weekly report on social analytics that will enable data-led programming and content decisions
  • Partner with Community Management team to identify key trends in customer feedback to incorporate into programming calendar
  • Partner with our Insights and Demand team to Identify tastemakers, influencers, and key customers who can be turned into advocates, content creators, and other partners
  • Partner with our Demand team to ideate, implement and understand the impact of influencer marketing programs
  • Recommend how to expand social strategy to other demo- and partner-relevant platforms (Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, etc)
  • Create or crowdsource content that is low-production-lift and native to IG (ex: Story takeovers, Story tap-through-engagement plans, UGC)
  • Create and manage social programming calendars with at least 2 weeks visibility into future posts
  • Manage daily programming of content. Includes content uploading, drafting captions, adding CTAs, checking for errors
  • Act as final quality check on all posts - typos, correct links, correct art, correct captions
  • Respond to comments from fans, talent, and notable influencers -- identifying unique opportunities to elevate community conversation
