Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

In your role as a Software Consultant (or, as you’ll be known around the office, an Account Executive), your primary focus will be to net new sales, primarily in new markets. To be successful in this role, you should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities, often under tight deadlines. In this position, you will work independently. But as a member of our incredible sales team, someone will always have your back.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, and networking
  • Develop and maintain an effective business, sales, and marketing plan for assigned territory
  • Properly forecast monthly and quarterly sales
  • Effectively present our solutions to qualified prospects, primarily PolicyStat and Universal Contract Manager
  • Manage a virtual sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and close
  • Prepare to deliver product demonstrations: discuss the prospect’s needs, identify their requirements, and schedule custom demonstrations as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, competitive offerings, and other business issues relevant to the position
  • Use effective time and territory management to maximize results
  • Document daily sales activities in our CRM tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline, and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales management

  • College degree or equivalent sales experience
  • Minimum 2 years of successful  B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers
  • Technology sales experience and/or hosted software solutions is a strong plus
  • Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
  • Consultative, solution-based sales methodology
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and able to work independently
  • Creative problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion & influence
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with associates and customers
  • Adjust to new, different, or changing requirements
  • Listen with objectivity and check for understanding
