About the Role

The Data Product Manager is a critical role in our newly formed Pricing Optimisation team. The team has been spun up to deliver data products and machine learning models to develop market leading pricing to support our ambitious growth plans.

The role will develop a vision and roadmap for the team that is aligned with strategic goals and ensure that tangible business value is being delivered. To achieve this they need to work closely with business stakeholders, data science and data engineering to understand business requirements and how these can be translated into technical deliverables.

Your day-to-day

  • Requirement gathering: Work with business units to gather requirements and understand their pain points to translate them into data product features with measurable KPIs. Write clear and concise product specifications, including user stories and acceptance criteria, for the data team to follow.
  • Continuous improvement: Regularly review performance metrics and user feedback to continuously optimise and improve data products. Facilitate user testing sessions and collect user feedback to ensure data products meet user needs and business objectives.
  • User training & documentation: Coordinate with relevant teams to provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the data products. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all data products, including user guides, technical specifications, and best practices.
