We invite you to join our Sales team at Poka as an Account Manager! Embark on a journey to globally showcase the foremost "Connect Worker" platform, driving significant advancements in the industry while harnessing the full power of IFS. Our mission involves delivering award-winning solutions across the expansive landscape of manufacturing. Reporting to the Global Director of Sales Expansion, you will be the critical contact point for developing new business from existing clients and be responsible for nurturing sales relationships. You will be part of a POD team where Customer Success and Sales work together towards a common goal of added value for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in account management, customer success, software implementation or a comparable role in the B2B SaaS market. The candidate should have a proven track record of fostering and nurturing solid customer relationships with medium and Enterprise-scale accounts. Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and its workforce is a plus.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • The Account Manager will own the sales relationship for medium and Enterprise-scale accounts and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead the sales process on assigned opportunities from need analysis to closing.
  • Proactively follow-up with assigned client accounts to build strong account relationships.
  • Coordinate contract renewals.
  • Develop a compelling Poka business case for potential customers by aligning with their business priorities and desired outcomes.
  • Respond promptly to incoming inquiries.
  • Document all accounts’ milestones, opportunities and accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Prepare, manage and present compelling presentation decks and answer product and implementation questions.
  • Coordinate outbound inquiries with Sales Development Representatives.
  • Work in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Professional Services teams.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success-Professional Services teams when accounts need special attention.

What you bring to the table:

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, customer success relationship, software implementation or comparable role in B2B organizations.
  • SaaS experience is a must.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Bilingual in French, and other languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrate an impressive depth of knowledge in the manufacturing industry.
  • Good change management skills (understand implementation, building a business case).
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines and achieving short and long-term goals.
  • Capable of working autonomously but plays well with others.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
