As a Pre Sales Consultant at Poka, you'll leverage your understanding of lean manufacturing concepts to showcase how Poka fits into multiple departments of a factory. By connecting Poka’s use cases with lean concepts such as cutting waste and boosting efficiency, you’ll help underline Poka’s role as a key player in driving operational success and lean progress. Amongst other responsibilities, you will focus on Proof of Concept development, demonstration of instance maintenance, and customized demonstrations.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Cultivating an in-depth comprehension of our customers' business operations and technical needs within the manufacturing sector, guiding them towards effective connected worker implementations.
- Establishing yourself as a "trusted technical advisor" by forming solid relationships with customer leaders and Poka’s internal teams.
- Developing and presenting PoCs to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of connected worker solutions.
- Designing solution architecture frameworks to aid in solution selling at the enterprise level, ensuring these frameworks are informed by your manufacturing experience and aimed at solving industry-specific challenges.
- Providing specialized expertise in software/hardware technical architecture to guarantee the deployment of suitable, effective solutions.
- Collaborating with Poka's Global Pre Sales Director and the Pre Sales Team, sharing manufacturing insights, mentoring on demonstration customization, and advancing PoC development.
- Leading in customer-facing events, especially those involving strategic discussions, by offering customized demonstrations that showcase the practical benefits of Poka.
- Integrating strategies with Poka's proactive selling model, enhancing the consultative selling approach with a focus on manufacturing efficiencies and connected worker benefits.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre Sales consulting within the manufacturing industry, particularly involving software Pre Sales and connected worker technologies.
- Good understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong interpersonal skills, marked by creativity and curiosity, with a proven track record of engaging and influencing technical and non-technical audiences within the manufacturing sector.
- Skilled in crafting and delivering customized product demonstrations that resonate with the specific needs of the manufacturing industry and connected worker scenarios.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities - capable of making decisions based on market and customer trends in the manufacturing domain, and challenging existing processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Fluency in English is a must. Ability to speak French is considered an asset.
