What you’ll do

We’re looking for an Analyst to join our team focused on reconciliation, accounting, taxation, and management of the Firm’s international compensation / payrolls. We’re looking for someone with the capacity to develop professionally and build leadership skills to assume increased responsibilities in the department over time. Specifically, you will:

  • Prepare and review international payrolls accurately and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Ensure all relevant payroll data is submitted to outsourced payroll provider with no omission or error
  • Analyze data, management reports, and run/prepare reports and analysis for ad-hoc requests to support the strategic goals of the business
  • Maintain strong business relationships with outsourced payroll providers
  • Liaise with other departments within and outside of Finance to address questions, collaborate on projects, and address management inquiries
  • Collaborate with the U.S. Payroll team timely and effectively while managing U.S. time zone requirements and escalating potential issues proactively
  • Assist in the monthly accounting close process by performing balance sheet reconciliations, identification and explanation of variances and preparation of journal entries
  • Identify and implement process improvements to minimize opportunities for error and to improve the timeliness of our deliverables
  • Review and identification of changes in taxes and social charges; work with external tax experts to verify appropriate treatment by local vendors
  • Work virtually alongside a team of experienced professionals to actively engage in job training
  • Cross train among peers to ensure proper coverage is maintained
