The Office of the Chief Investment Officer, led by co-CIO Harry Schwefel, supports the continued development of our long/short discretionary investment professionals, portfolio construction, and liquidity groups, and continues to advance the tools and resources available to our teams.
What you’ll do
As a business analyst you will report to the L/S Equities Analyst Engagement Manager, assisting in the delivery of a COO service to each investment team. This will involve a number of responsibilities, including preparing materials for meetings with investment teams to discuss process improvements, talent management, best practices, firm resources, and pain points; project managing initiatives to optimize management processes; and working with business partners across the firm to ensure our investment professionals receive high levels of service.
Specifically, you will:
Prepare dashboards, materials, and content in advance of meetings with investment professionals
Manage delivery of operational services to our investment teams throughout the year
Build and maintain systems (metrics, reporting) to track issues, identify patterns of need, and hold relevant parties accountable
Support initiatives to drive analyst engagement and development
Manage onboarding process for investment professionals
Partner closely with Compliance on all aspects of the role
What’s required
1-3 years of experience in hedge funds, investing banking, consulting, or other relevant fields
Highly developed organization and project management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while producing high quality work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated client focus

The annual base salary range is $125,000 - $165,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
