The Regulatory Reporting team provides governance across all regulatory filings and related obligations globally. The team is responsible for report preparation, generating and coordinating responses for large cross-departmental filings, oversight of technology supporting regulatory filings, identification and implementation automation opportunities, and administering data standards.
Regulators include but are not limited to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), National Futures Association (NFA), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and Kanto Finance Bureau (KFB).
What you’ll do
Project manage cross-functional regulatory reporting projects and filings and perform detailed work as required
Review upcoming regulations and collaborate across functions to help develop and implements a process and solutions on how to meet evolving regulatory requirements
Assist with development and monitoring of team operational KPIs and dashboard reporting
Review and prepare filing responses for various regulators
Collaborate with Compliance, Tax, Legal, Finance, Technology and Operations teams on filings, requests and projects
Drive continuous improvement of the team’s processes via automation and/or identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and/or control
What’s required
10+ years of regulatory reporting experience at a financial institution
Experience with regulations including but not limited to Form PF, Form ADV, Section 13 filings, various transaction reporting regimes (MIFID II, MAS OTC Derivatives, CFTC)
Ability to navigate an organization and build effective relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills
An inquisitive and analytical mindset with the ability to conduct detailed analysis with limited guidance, gather and synthesize information to draw fact-based conclusions and recommendations.
