We’re looking for a partner to our Engineering, Product, and G&A teams to maintain relationships and provide financial and business partner support. 

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the budgets and forecast processes by working with various departments. This position will play a key role in Podium’s reporting process. This position will have a primary role of working on planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. This role will require partnering with key business stakeholders as well as cross functional groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, lead, and develop a high performing team responsible for forecasting
  • Report to Head of FP&A and serve as a key resource for our CFO and other senior leaders across Podium
  • Oversee and execute on an accurate balance sheet forecasting process across all lines of Podium businesses
  • Create strong cross functional partnerships with key business leaders across the organization and present results and forecast changes while providing valuable and actionable analysis to decision makers
  • Act as a strategic partner, providing financial expertise and guidance on how to evaluate multiple investment opportunities to drive sustained revenue growth
  • Operate at multiple altitudes - have an in-depth knowledge of subject matter, models, and key drivers and at the same time be able to tell the story of the our financial results
  • Identify and drive process improvements to create efficiencies and accuracy of the teams work
  • Manage ad hoc projects on an on-going basis and present to business partners. Project examples include partnership deal valuation, Profit and Loss for investment cases, headcount planning, etc

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics or similar quantitative discipline
  • 6+ years experience in FP&A roles partnering with business leaders in a finance support role, with a particular focus leading revenue forecasting
  • Prior leadership and people management experience with multiple direct reports and proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Significant attention to detail with an ability to develop a story using strong verbal and written skills for both executives and direct stakeholders
  • Demonstrated excellence in business analytics and tools. Advanced Excel skills; and experience navigating through systems enhancements with financial planning tools. Prior experience with Tableau, Snowflake, and Adaptive Insights is  highly beneficial
  • Experience working in SaaS financial models preferred
  • Strong work ethic, high sense of urgency, and ability to deliver results in tight timeline
  • Basic SQL experience
