The Role 

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Podium, you will spearhead the success of Podium’s integration ecosystem—including key point of sale (POS) connections. You will be the driving force behind defining positioning, crafting compelling messaging, and developing robust go-to-market and adoption strategies for key integrations and new launches. You'll also help craft comprehensive automation strategies for small businesses that will help power their growth. This role is truly cross-functional, demanding seamless collaboration with our platform partnerships team, product, sales, engineering, design, and various other teams across the company, enabling you to make a lasting impact on our organization.

What you will be doing:

  • Craft compelling messaging and strategic positioning for key integrations, captivating both prospects and customers.
  • Lead the development of launch strategies and comprehensive go-to-market plans for new, high-profile integrations..
  • Develop and drive campaigns aimed at increasing attach rates, adoption, and usage for key integrations.
  • Represent the voice of our SMB customer, including developing deep expertise in our core verticals to create compelling, vertical-specific, and solution-focused content that resonates.
  • Take ownership of creating captivating customer-facing marketing assets, such as impactful case studies, engaging product videos, persuasive website copy, and thought-provoking blog posts, to effectively communicate the benefits of our products and integrations to the world.
  • Foster close collaboration with Platform Partners, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Business Development teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive messaging and positioning strategy across all channels.
  • Empower our sales teams through comprehensive enablement initiatives, equipping them with deep knowledge of the user, product and integration, market, and competitive landscape.
  • Drive research projects to gain a profound understanding of current market trends, the broader competitive landscape, and evolving user needs, using insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Conceptualize and execute impactful campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention, effectively showcasing the value and differentiation of our offerings.

What you should have:

  • Demonstrated success in a software-based Product Marketing Manager (PMM) role for 3-5 years, with an emphasis small and medium sized businesses (SMB)
  • Professional but down-to-earth demeanor coupled with exceptional leadership skills and strong executive presence, enabling you to effectively collaborate with and guide diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and story-telling skills across written, verbal, and visual domains, adept at tailoring messages for internal and customer-facing audiences.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with a knack for interpreting data and qualitative research to extract actionable insights and key takeaways.
  • A passion for knowing, understanding, and representing the customer.
  • Proactive self-starter who takes ownership and has the ability to build programs from the ground up, all while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Adaptability in navigating an ambiguous environment with diverse stakeholders, showcasing your resilience and ability to thrive in challenging situations.
  • A genuine team player who exhibits hunger, humility, people smarts, and is interested not only in their own growth, but in seeing the team—and Podium as a whole—succeed.
