Plum Guide is on a mission to build the definitive collection of the world’s best holiday homes. We are taking a systematic approach to vetting every single home on the planet and accepting only the top 3%. Like a Michelin Guide, but for homes. We do it by putting every home in a destination through a systematic vetting process, which includes identifying candidate homes through proprietary AI, interviewing hosts and sending our Home Critics to visit and test nominated homes in person.

We launched 5 years ago. Since then we have grown incredibly quickly; expanded to 254 locations in 15 countries; tested over 150,000 homes; and developed a customer experience that’s returning the highest NPS scores in the industry.

The Role

The Plum Guide proposition is built on a commitment to quality: we only select homes that meet our standards through our unique in-person Plum Home Test; and we merchandise those homes with exceptional photography, to maximise their commercial success. Your role sits at the very heart of our growth and expansion. You will be trying to create and execute the blueprint to move small markets to be a priority. This will require fantastic communication and organisational skills, collaborating with several different stakeholders (both internally and externally, with our hosts), in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

You’ll be part of the broader Operations Team, responsible for all of the day to day operations at Plum Guide. This role offers considerable growth opportunities for either Operations, Sales or Account Management

Your Mission

Your mission is to drive growth in Plum Guide’s expansion markets, through working with our current and future hosts. Whilst also having the ability to step back and optimise processes for scaling up for Plum Guide's ambitious growth targets each quarter. 

Responsibilities

As Plum’s Operations Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving sales in our expansion markets
  • Investigating issues with calendars and pricing where they arise
  • Communicating directly with hosts over the phone or zoom, pitching Plum Guide or talking through problems
  • Feeding back and helping to streamline, automate and scale our systems and processes
  • Be inquisitive to find new opportunities to re-invent or optimise existing processes

Skills

  • Experience in a growing high paced environment
  • Communication skills
  • Previous experience in an Account Management or Sales role
  • Expansion and growth mindset
  • Ability to make decisions on the spot
  • Ability to read and understand numbers
  • Ability to use Excel/google sheets

Nice to have's

  • Language skills are a bonus 
  • Having SQL skills is also a bonus, or a strong desire to learn

  • The markets you work on will grow at a faster rate than our primary markets
