Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity to join a distributed team that supports PlayStation Studios & their projects. As a Compliance Test Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating all compliance testing on your assigned project. You will get to work on ground-breaking hardware and video-games within a large multicultural, multi region team; helping us drive and build the future of games & Compliance Testing.  What you’ll be doing:

  • Management of compliance aspects of an application and it’s processes
  • Daily workload evaluation and co-ordination of Compliance Testing team
  • Reliably evaluate priority for compliance test focus
  • Primary ownership and point of contact for compliance status and test strategy
  • Daily review and reporting on compliance test status or progress
  • Ensure defect tracking database is accurate and up to date
  • Ensure titles follow PlayStation Studios QA compliance test processes
  • Develop and mentor compliance test staff through 1 on 1s
  • Collaborate with relevant internal partners to capture product information, develop partnerships to provide a compliance consultancy service
  • Root cause analysis investigations and recommendations for improvements and/or new services or processes, including automation solutions
  • Use knowledge, research and data to continuously improve PlayStation Studios QA compliance test services and processes
  • May travel to studios or other WWS groups globally at short notice

Desired qualifications/experience

  • Ability to showcase emotional intelligence
  • Software testing Qualifications (such as ISQTB® Foundation level qualification or higher)
  • Leadership experience
  • Adept at frontline troubleshooting and support
  • Knowledge of PlayStation or any other platform compliance requirements
  • PC Games testing experience, supporting and releasing titles across a range of platforms such as Steam, Epic, Origin, GOG, etc
  • Passion for video games
  • Expertise in cross cultural business and remote team interaction
