The Players’ Tribune is looking for a new Marketing Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate loves Marketing and possesses the bandwidth to wear multiple hats in an ever-changing environment. 

In this role, you will:

  • Support key accounts in partnership with select Brand Partnership Account Executive(s) and Director, Integrated Marketing
  • Act as TPT Sales Team’s marketing support to ideate, create and execute TPT advertising programs
    • Ideate and review new sellable programs with Content & Brand Partnership team – both proactive and home-run reactive
    • Create & write program proposals and packages that will be taken to market
    • Execute packaged programs post-sale
  • Help execute TPT Brand Partner experiential programs
    • Event coordination and logistics for on-site activations and TPT event initiative
    • Ability to craft, write and present a meaningful story from ideation to execution
  • Ownership or collecting and curating campaign recap materials, including screenshots, engagement/view metrics, and social shares/distribution
  • Oversee digital advertising executions across web, social, e-mail and more
  • Develop and assist in TPT Signature sellable programs (pre-sale to post-sale)
  • Participate in outward facing sales collateral development (general presentation, deck templates etc.)
  • Support integrated marketing efforts for select client meetings and pitches
  • Maintain laser focus on renewals and driving new business
  • Scheduling and coordination of internal and external meetings/call-ins

 

Who we're looking for:

  • 1-4 years of experience working in Marketing/Partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and advertising agencies
  • Established relationships with marketing/experiential vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a working knowledge of Keynote, Excel, and Powerpoint
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Strong organization/project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of media metrics, social media, technologies and research tools used in the marketplace
  • Passionate for brand storytelling in a sports context
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Internet and online advertising plus the various platforms, creative units/executions and current competitive landscape
  • Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams
