The Players’ Tribune is looking for a Manager, Integrated Marketing to support select sales marketing efforts for the TPT Brand Partnership team. The candidate will be based in New York, reporting to the Director, Marketing & Partnerships. This position requires someone who is both a strategic and creative thinker – a person on top of critical industry trends who can develop ideas that are both innovative and sellable. An experienced executor, the Manager, Integrated Marketing would manage implementation and delivery of the highest quality media partner programs that generate renewals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support / own key accounts in partnership with select Brand Partnership Account Executive(s)
  • Day to day management of majority of active campaigns
  • Act as TPT Sales Team’s marketing support to ideate, create and execute TPT advertising programs
    • Ideate and review new sellable programs with Content & Brand Partnership team – both proactive and home-run reactive
    • Create & write program proposals and packages that will be taken to market
    • Execute packaged programs post-sale
  • Plan and manage TPT Brand Partner experiential programs
  • Oversee digital advertising executions across web, social, e-mail and more
    • Liaise between media agency and TPT digital/content team for creation of digital assets and branded content pieces
  • Develop and assist in TPT Signature sellable programs (pre-sale to post-sale):
    • Push for annual improvements from an ideation and P/L standpoint
    • Participate in the development of new ones
  • Participate in outward facing sales collateral development (general presentation, deck templates etc.)
  • Attend and support integrated marketing efforts for select client meetings and pitches
  • Maintain laser focus on renewals and driving new business
    • Measure and analyze active programs to produce recap presentations
  • Mentor new team members as our organization grows


Required Qualifications / Skills:

  • 5-7 years of experience working in Marketing/Partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and advertising agencies
  • Established relationships with marketing/experiential vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a working knowledge of Keynote, Excel and Powerpoint
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Ability to craft, write and present a meaningful story from ideation to execution
  • Strong organization/project management skills
  • Entrepreneur mindset – a hardworking, creative thinker who possesses the bandwidth to wear many hats in an ever-changing environment
  • Strong knowledge of media metrics, social media, technologies and research tools used in the marketplace
  • Passionate for brand storytelling in a sports context
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Internet and online advertising plus the various platforms, creative units/executions and current competitive landscape
  • Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams
