About The Role:

Come in and help us turn Satellite Imagery Data as a Service into reality!

Equipped with near-infrared, and video capabilities, Planet’s SkySat fleet can revisit any point on Earth at 72 cm resolution and sub-daily basis, higher frequency than any other commercial high resolution satellite imagery provider. We build systems and services to manage satellites activities in orbit.

In this role, you will build an order management platform that tracks the progress of the user requests and helps our spacecraft operators to maximize the efficiency of our fleet. The service also assists with image quality assurance as well as delivering the final products to our customers. 

You will be part of the backend team and work closely with co-located front end and quality assurance teams.

  • Being part of an agile, interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with product owners, designers, QA Engineers and front-end developers to create true user-centered products
  • Collaborating with other teams throughout the organization to ensure everyone is up-to-date and well informed

What You Bring:
