We are currently hiring a System Administrator:

The Role

  • Work with internal clients to identify and resolve issues with their desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and connectivity.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Liaise with the People Team and onboard new hires, including procurement of equipment as well as account creation and software installation.
  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.

The Must-Haves

  • 1+ years experience in desktop support
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows, Macintosh OS X, Debian-based operating systems such as Ubuntu
  • Strong experience with Google Apps and Microsoft Active Directory
  • Strong experience with mobile device management on Apple iOS and Android
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and pin-point problems within the appropriate time period.
  • Excellent customer service skills throughout all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work calmly and methodically in a high-pressure situation
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus

The Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience operating Juniper, pfSense, and Ruckus network management equipment
  • Experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking systems
