Responsibilities:

PJT Partners is seeking to hire Graphic Designer to join our Corporate team. This role requires an extremely well-organized individual with the ability to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into graphic assets with clean and modern design style for print and digital communications, including signage, brochures, info graphics, charts, presentations, design templates and corporate events   This individual will work closely with each of the PJT Partners business groups and with the Corporate teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who can work independently and as part of a team. We are flexible on adding an in-person, hybrid or fully remote professional to the team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project.
  • Safeguard PJT branding on internal and external materials by ensuring design adherence to the PJT’s visual brand guidelines.
  • Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with project teams, meeting deadlines and ensuring designs meet client expectations.
  • Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography and video.
  • Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a collaborative content management system.

Qualifications:

We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and are proven self-starters. In addition to strong design skills, the successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, interests outside of work and a desire to work in a team environment.  

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as it is fundamental for this role.
  • Proficiency Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
  • Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented approach and the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of art, design and typography principles.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task within a small team.
  • Communicate effective and clearly via email to clients and internal team.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in a corporate setting.

Expected annualized base salary of $65,000 to $85,000.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
