Since most financial institutions rely on traditional credit scoring to assess risk, that means these people can't access affordable financial products. Instead, they resort to high-interest credit cards, payday loans, and trigger overdraft fees to make ends meet — which ultimately push them into deeper cycles of debt. 

Pinwheel provides an API platform that makes it easy to connect payroll accounts like ADP and Gusto to any app. By unlocking the wealth of identity, income and employment data that sits in these systems, alongside direct access to paychecks, we can help innovators build the next generation of financial products that increase access for the underserved while improving the businesses of our partner fintechs, banks, and lenders. 

Who are we looking for?

Pinwheel is looking for an IT Analyst to manage the corporate hardware, network infrastructure and enterprise software services that all employees rely on. This job involves managing all endpoints through an MDM such as Jamf, Identity and Access Management and enterprise services such as G Suite, Okta, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian among others. The right person will have had successes supporting an IT function at a rapidly scaling tech start up, as well as experience managing remotely across diverse geographies. Overall, we're looking for someone with an arsenal of effective tools, who's willing and excited to identify opportunities to innovate and create new systems for our growing organization.

What will you be doing?

  • Architecting and administering Jamf; building out a controlled, zero touch deployment while configuring profiles and policies that optimize employee experience.
  • Administration and support of Okta and G Suite.
  • Owning access management for all our tools and systems.
  • Partnering with business units and engineering teams to optimize support workflows.
  • Serving as an on premise enterprise technology point of contact.
  • Supporting and maintaining in-house audiovisual equipment and non-print media assets; this includes operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading the various electronic products.
  • Partnering with Information Security team to implement their recommendations and best practices.

What experience, skills, and qualifications are necessary?

  • MacOS system (hardware) and application (software) installation and configuration experience required.
  • First-hand experience with administration and architecture of Jamf Pro and Okta.
  • Managing the lifecycle of fleets of devices in previous roles.
  • Experience administering a variety of SaaS applications.
  • Strong employee support/internal customer service orientation.
  • Change management and communications skills. 
  • Able to translate technical concepts for non-technical colleagues. 
  • 1-3 years of industry experience.
