The Role

We are looking to hire our first Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Lead who will work closely with the CFO and Controller on a range of finance and strategy efforts. You will partner directly with key business leaders to drive company-wide planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for our organization. You will collaborate cross-functionally to manage and own our overall budget and monthly forecasts, report on budget vs. actuals, and provide key inputs and insights to inform decision making. You will also manage our routine procurement process for better spend monitoring. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Manage near real-time gross margin monitoring
  • Build and update detailed financial models and performance metrics to evaluate investment priorities and potential alternatives
  • Generate management reporting and financial packages on both a routine and ad hoc basis
  • Lead and manage procurement and negotiation processes
  • Drive scalable and consistent processes to enable operational excellence in business planning, forecasting, reporting, and deep insights/analysis for GTM

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a strong knowledge of Accounting principles and corporate finance
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, banking, or related field; preferably with experience at a high growth tech startup
  • Outstanding analytical and communication skills with an attention to detail
  • Experience developing FP&A financial models, management reports, variance analysis, and financial research
  • Strong modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, and presentation skills with Powerpoint or Google Slides
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS business metrics and model drivers
  • Ability to work cross-functionality to drive alignment across the organization and prioritize deliverables
