ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU’LL
Interact with executive level customers
Read, understand, and follow work orders/job scopes created by Pilot Engineers
Run 3mm terminated fiber optic cable through customer suites
Create and troubleshoot fiber paths into customer space by drilling through drywall, concrete and brick
Respond to and resolve emergency fiber outages
Operate OTDR, Light Meter, VFL and other fiber equipment/tools
Complete progress reports and job status updates daily
Flexibility to accept changing shifts & work locations
Comfortability working in confined spaces (basements, electrical closets, shaft-ways, etc.)
Willing to work in all weather conditions
Valid, clean drivers license (MVR check required)
Valid OSHA 10 Hour Construction Certification required
Reliable daily transportation to and from Brooklyn depot
Capability of lifting up to 75 pounds
