Under the direction of our Chief Growth Officer, the Deposit Relationship Manager is a highly qualified manager with an existing client base in New Jersey/New York area that takes pride in acquiring and providing a full complement of services to well-qualified clients.
Responsibilities:
The growth of deposit relationships with local commercial businesses.
Researching and identifying potential clients to build a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities and deliver against sales targets.
Assisting with processes including identification of new customers, customer acquisition, initial customer contact, follow up strategies, identification of products and services to meet customer's needs, proposal development, and overall management of new customer acquisition including onboarding.
Responsible for all phases of the customer service and sales life cycle including lead generation, utilization of relevant systems, following policies, and leveraging product knowledge.
Ensuring the compliance of the related banking laws and regulations are met.
Supporting deposit related marketing and business development strategies by actively participating in relevant trade, community, and client networking events.
Qualifications:
Proven sales track record in generating new business.
Understanding of related laws and regulations within cannabis industry.
Strong business development skill and a self-starter.
Ability to work and thrive in a high growth, fast pace environment.
Experience in calling on and working with commercial businesses.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
Ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence with senior-level personnel in an organization.
Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to assess industry trends and leverage appropriate resources to grow the deposit portfolio.
The hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
