Physicians Immediate Care is proud to announce a newly created role, Data Analyst, to support the growth of reporting and analytical needs across the company. The ideal candidate should have entry-level experience (1 to 2+ years) with data and analytics, preferably in healthcare. While this position rolls up to the Finance/Accounting department, reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, this new role will work cross-functionally, under guidance, to help support various departments (Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Quality & Compliance).

Job Responsibilities

  • Extract large raw data sets from various sources and transform into digestible recurring and ad-hoc reports for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Build efficiencies, automation, and enhance accuracy of existing reports by thinking critically and reverse engineering various data sources
  • Help identify, develop and refine key performance indicators as the company expands and enhances operational processes
  • Act as a liaison with joint venture partners, state reporting agencies and other outside organizations by providing data, answering inquiries and fulfilling reporting needs
  • Use data to prepare presentations for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Utilize soft skills (i.e. strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize needs/requests) to meet internal customer needs

Minimum Requirements – Experience, Skills & Education

  • 1 to 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or relevant role
  • Basic understanding of relational databases
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Pivot Tables, Charts & Formulas (VLOOKUP, IFERROR, IF, SUMIFS)
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills; formatting, linking data & charts
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and requirements accordingly
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, or related field

Experience with any of the following is plus, but not required

  • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio; run and modify existing SQL queries
  • Microsoft Excel; PowerPivot, data models, and/or macros
  • Microsoft Excel; formulas INDIRECT, INDEX & MATCH
  • Microsoft PowerShell; executing existing scripts
  • Business intelligence/analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Healthcare data (CPT codes) and/or financial modeling
