Multi-site Dermatology Group Seeks Medical Aesthetics Nurse

Optima Dermatology is recruiting an experienced Medical Aesthetics RN to join our growing dermatology and medical aesthetics group in Mentor, OH. You will be supported by exceptional practice managers, clinical support staff, and powerhouse back-office teams, allowing you to focus on providing great patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform skin analyses and evaluation on clients
  • Perform non-invasive or minimally invasive services and treatments including but not limited to Broadband Light (BBL), Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser, laser hair removal, Coolsculpting, microneedling, and chemical peels
  • Perform all services and treatments in accordance with established treatment protocols, scope of practice, organizational policies and procedures, and all other governing standards
  • Educate clients on all treatment processes including pre-and post-treatment care guidelines, and products to enhance their procedures
  • Have thorough knowledge of skin care and cosmetic products in order to appropriately develop patient prescriptions
  • Ensure patient's safety, comfort, and smooth flow of patient care
  • Perform maintenance checks on lasers to ensure systems are operating appropriately
  • Accurate charting and clinical documentation of each client
  • Sustain proficiency through continuous education and training
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Strong listening skills
  • Team oriented
  • Knowledge of aesthetic services and treatments
  • 1+ years aesthetic experience preferred
  • Dermatology, plastic surgery, or med spa industry experience is required
  • Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Well organized, efficient, and able to operate in a busy work environment
  • Passion for helping patients and providing great care
  • Communicate with professionalism, honesty, and kindness
  • Valid Nurse license in the state of Ohio
