Role: Associate Manager/Manager, UPI Business, Payments
What to expect from this role:
● Opportunity to drive the business development & implementation charter for industry leading UPI payment products
● Bring new UPI products & features to market collaborating across cross-functional teams product, engineering, growth, compliance, business finance etc.
● Perform in-depth competitive analysis & market research (primary & secondary) to put together market views on various payment products
● Develop in-depth domain knowledge of payments technical systems, API integrations and ecosystem-wide developments. Should be able to address queries, data requirements and escalations from different stakeholders.
● Represent PhonePe in the payments ecosystem interfacing with stakeholders from banks, regulatory bodies etc. to execute our vision and initiatives
● Regularly analyze operational & product data funnels. Come up with insights to bring about improvement in success rates & processes.
● Execute all operating plans independently
Ideal candidate for this role should:
● Have 2-6 years of experience in high-growth startups/consulting firms
● Thrive at building relationships, influencing cross-functional teams and leadership teams on strategic execution of key projects.
● Be curious & passionate about fintech & payments. Drive research on fintech landscape & competitor analysis and contribute to strategy projects.
● Be obsessed with user and merchant experience with a strong execution bias.
● Be adept at program management and building consensus across internal/external teams.
● Be agile,highly collaborative and communicate impressively
● Strong analytical acumen and problem solving skills
● Be highly data-driven and adept at balancing needs with business goals
● MBA from top-tier institutions is nice to have
