 Windows Administration

  • Good knowledge of Windows/Linux Administration and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to VPN, Network connectivity issues, User access. 
  • Good understanding of how to troubleshoot Application related issues.
  • Good understanding/knowledge to create Documentations. 
  • Fast learner. 
  • Knowledge in Azure is an advance. 
  • Scripting knowledge i.e. Powershell, Windows script.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS) and the Microsoft server environment.
  • Knowledge in Virtualisation. 
  • Monitor and maintain Windows Server operating system.
  • Familiarity with networking topology concepts. 
  • Good to have at least 1 Azure certification (Administrator, Developer or Architect)
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience with Cloud administration / automation (Knowledge). 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting technical problems on a 1st line support.
  • Identifying the issue and addressing /escalating the issue to the right SPOC and work with relevant SPOC to publish RCA. 
  • Monitoring and Alerting will be BAU activities. 
  • Participate in escalations and outage bridges. Ensure accurate outage status alerts are actioned on a timely basis.
  • Document SoP of the Environment.
  • Monitor overall system and infrastructure availability.
  • Ensures that systems, processes and methodologies are maintained/followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
  • Participate in upgrades needed to maintain service levels.
  • Participates in DR/BCP activities of the cloud setup.
  • Reports the activities/challenges faced on a day-to-day basis. And escalate the impact/impact and communicate accordingly.
