Job Responsibilities:
 Responsible to design strategy, plan and drive performance delivery for collections unit - covering consumer and Merchant Lending.
 Create processes, reviews and monitoring policies to identify early warning signals on credit quality and defaults.
 Constantly keep track of market trends including competitor, regulations; modify collections and fraud monitoring processes based on prevalent trends.
 Identify, develop and continuously improve collections process to ensure overall efficiency in terms of customer contact and recovery techniques.
 Develop in an in-depth understanding of our partners' business goals to identify win-win opportunities for our partnerships.
 Building and getting the necessary infrastructure for collections and bring in digitization in money collection.
 Accountable for designing and implementing Compliance & Controls for collections unit in line with regulatory guidelines.
 Managing expense and lead systemic (technology) enhancements. Managing and driving units’ productivity and performance through balance scorecards/ performance enhancer programs.
 To design Customer Segmentation and Treatment Analysis, designing Champion and Challenger programs.
 Analysing trends and providing feed to Risk & Policy Unit for product development. Liaising with stake holders for feedback and unit’s progress & performance updates.
 Create loss forecasting and delinquency projections of the portfolio, planning capacity and infrastructure
 Handling automation projects, expense planning and management. Formulating collection policy and processes.
 Leading and managing Collections Analytics, Process Management, Collections System management, Digital COE teams.
 Recruiting, coaching, and mentoring the team; identifying team goals.
 Responsible for effective P&L management and tracking - managed overall Risk unit’s cost through implementation of effective robust cost management tools
 Effective and robust Vendor Management processes and policy. Managed and driven units’ productivity and performance through balance scorecards
 Adoption of technology, machine learning and analytical models in collections. Enhancing the core collections systems with new technological advancements

 Business Acumen: Analyse the effectiveness of the processes on a day-to-day basis and course correct. Has deep sense of ground reality and leverages it to achieve results.
 Analytical: Drive specific process efficiency metrics and be accountable to drive data-driven decision making.
 Managing Stakeholder: Manage disagreements maturely and align stakeholders. Communicate
proactively and help bring clarity around deliverables and owners.
 Results Oriented: Deliver on daily numbers, short-term goals and long-term milestones set by business. Consistently deliver impact commensurate to the role.

Candidate Profile:
 Must be MBA/Graduate and above and have at least 10 years' experience in collections and Strategy.
 Experience in New age NBFCs or Banks or Fintech is mandatory.
 Experience must include both tele- calling and field collections.
 Must have thorough understanding of all bucket’s collections.
 Decision making, work under pressure, Effective communication,
 Must have experience in vendor management.
 Working knowledge of dialer operation
 Prepare management presentation for business review.
