Opportunity and Role : 

PhonePe aims to revolutionize digital payments and financial services in India by fostering an environment of equal opportunity and empowerment. We are searching for experienced product professionals to join our lending team and drive innovation.

As a Group Product Manager, you will lead and shape the product roadmap, creating user-centric solutions. You will collaborate with a talented team and diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and own the product strategy for an existing business line. Collaborate with stakeholders to plan the AOP and and execute the roadmap in alignment with the strategy.
  2. Thought Leadership: Act as the primary decision-maker for product-related matters for both internal and external stakeholders. Engage with external customers to communicate objectives and progress.
  3. Resource & Team Management:
    1. Oversee resource planning for your team.
    2. Participate in resource planning for other teams.
    3. Manage and mentor your team, empowering them to take ownership of significant projects and grow their product competencies.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Experience:
    1. 5+ years in product management.
    2. Proven track record of rapidly scaling products.
  2. Skills:
    1. Strong business acumen, with an understanding of P&L drivers, macro trends, and the ability to anticipate and respond to changes.
    2. Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
    3. Ability to adapt swiftly and align stakeholders towards common goals.
    4. Strong bias for action.
  3. Preferred :  Experience in consumer centric /lending products.
