PhonePe's advertising monetization vertical is tasked with the responsibility of building & monetizing growth solutions for marketers across consumer facing ecosystems. Over the last 6 years PhonePe has built a massive and heavily engaged user base of over 500 Mn users. Providing services in the fintech space enables PhonePe to effectively cater to both consumer & advertiser needs. Team is responsible for generating direct bottom line ad revenue via platform monetization. 

Core KPI will be absolute revenue driven from agencies aligned to the candidate. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Heavy focus on sales to unlock new accounts & grow existing accounts
  • Strategize and execute merchant outreach to increase the funnel
  • Focus on business development across industries to grow contribution in P&L
  • Identifying key market segment and partners and drive long term partnerships
  • Define & own revenue targets and grow the portfolio on an ongoing basis
  • Create customer-oriented offerings basis an in-depth understanding of market trends
  • Establishing sales strategy, funnel for the industry, executing campaigns & growing accounts
  • Collaborate across internal teams including product, analytics, operations, finance, legal, etc

Capabilities & Requirements:

  • MBA from reputed tier 1 campus with working experience of 3-5 years
  • Exposure to start up environment / Ad sales / monetization is an added advantage
  • Strong business acumen & understanding of the business
  • Drive for result, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative to established targets and metrics
  • An understanding of digital marketing landscape (depth in specific industries like Gaming)
