Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Candidate should be well versed with Retail trade settlement of all products available in Capital Market as well as Derivative Market & responsible for trade settlement, Auction Settlement, Physical settlement.
  2. Knowledge of Pledger, Re-pledge, Unpledge & revoke of client securities.
  3. Perform daily controls and reconciliation functions for derivative & cash trades
  4. Testing & implementation of changes in Backoffice system
  5. Managing regulatory reporting requirements
  6. Corporate Action handling
  7. Handling client queries / audit queries / inspection queries
  8. Ensure all tasks are completed within timeframes, processing windows, market regulations, bank policies, or what is deemed prudent to minimize risk
  9. Liaising with colleagues and other teams to resolve issues and drive system enhancements
  10. Investigate exceptions and liaise with cross teams to get the exceptions resolved & Escalate issues for any urgent matters or assistance.
  11. Take ownership of work, problems, clarify issues / objections, and ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness.
  12. Continuously participate in projects involving new product rollout, new system implementation, process improvements, etc.
  13. Strong product knowledge thorough understanding of the end to end transaction cycle for derivative products.
  14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a high pressure environment with time critical deliveries
  15. Candidate should be a team player and self-motivated to drive for excellence
