Senior Creative Designer (m/f/d)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The Senior Designer provides design leadership and art direction, ensuring top-tier visual solutions for one of Phiture’s flagship client accounts (in the mobile gaming space). Reporting to a Creative Lead, you’ll create and implement a compelling design vision based on a deep understanding of the client’s game branding, audience, and marketing strategy.

You’ll work closely with a squad of talented creatives and growth consultants, ensuring high creative standards across a range of gaming-related marketing assets. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in presenting work to clients, articulating design rationale, and gathering feedback to refine creative output.

As a highly organized, process-driven designer, you’ll contribute to streamlining workflows, and working with project & account managers to improve the account. The Senior Designer should exhibit outstanding design judgment and work collaboratively with various teams to achieve the highest creative standards across multiple channels & markets.

Please note that this is NOT a UI/UX, product, or brand design position. We are specifically looking for a marketing/advertising Designer experienced with mobile apps and Figma.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead game marketing design efforts across a portfolio of mobile games, balancing hands-on design work with creative direction and mentorship to other designers.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of gaming industry trends, player psychology, and mobile game marketing tactics, using insights to inform creative direction.
  • Create and present compelling visual concepts to clients and internal teams, effectively communicating design rationale and strategy.
  • Collaborate with other creative professionals to produce:
    • Game-specific digital advertising for user acquisition across various marketing channels, including App Store Optimization.
    • Icons, screenshots, feature graphics, and other marketing assets optimized for mobile gaming audiences.
    • Engaging video storyboards in collaboration with the motion design team.
    • Localized assets for global releases
  • Serve as a key design voice in client-facing engagements, including meetings, presentations, and bespoke workshops, both digitally and on-site.
  • Develop and refine creative strategies, ensuring they align with game marketing objectives and user behavior insights.
  • Assist the Creative Lead and Project Managers in planning, optimizing workflows, and improving team efficiencies.
  • Stay on top of gaming industry design trends,and use your knowledge of Gen AI to strengthen our creative output.
  • Contribute to Phiture’s thought leadership through webinars, conference presentations, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Proven track record in a senior-level design position, preferably in game marketing, mobile advertising, or a creative agency.
  • Experience designing high-impact marketing assets, including app store visuals, UA creatives, ideally for mobile games.
  • Proficiency with Figma (including components and automation) and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
  • A strategic, conceptual approach to design and strong visual storytelling skills, demonstrated through an outstanding portfolio.
  • Experience presenting work to clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, with the ability to sell creative ideas persuasively.
  • A highly organized, process-driven approach, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and seamless collaboration within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines, maintaining high-quality output.
  • Experience with Gen AI tools.
