PHENOMENON is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join their team! This role is a pivotal position within the agency to identify top talent in all areas of the agency (strong emphasis in creative) and contribute to finding entrepreneurial and innovative candidates to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing agency. This position will report into our HR Director.


In This Role You Will:

  • Develop an active pipeline of both freelance and full-time candidates for a fast-paced, quickly moving agency
  • Partner with Creative Services Manager, Head of Operations, HR Director and Finance on full cycle recruiting
  • Oversee department recruiting budgets/salary caps with support of finance/HR
  • Recruit for all strategy, production, digital production, experience design, account, project management, studio artists, operations, art director/copywriter, and visual design for LA and Chicago offices
  • Have a client-focused and customer-centric attitude and aptitude
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to ensure understanding of department needs, team structures and build job descriptions
  • Create innovation solutions and approaches to sourcing talent
  • Act as a cultural steward for Phenomenon ensuring that new-hires (both freelance and full-time)have a smooth and positive on-boarding experience


Skills and Experience

  • Must have 5-7 years experience in talent acquisition/recruiting
  • Experience in advertising/marketing agency or similar environment preferred
  • Strong network of creatives within advertising and marketing
  • Experience balancing both contract/freelance based roles and full-time in a fast paced environment
  • Extreme sense of urgency, ability to take initiative and reach quickly to shifting priorities/requests
  • Strong communication skills both externally to potential candidates and internally to hiring teams
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn as a recruiting tool
  • Experience using Greenhouse or another ATS tool is a plus
