The AI Solutions Architect - Financial Services is a presales expert that leads to the consultative discovery of the client’s business goals, objectives, and challenges, and then translates them into effective Petuum Financial solutions.  You will be working cross functionally within our organization working with engineering, product management, business development, as well as ensuring a positive experience for external customers. 

The primary objective of the SA is to lead the qualification, discovery and solutioning phases in conjunction with the financial business development executive and customers, leading them to the Petuum Financial Program, an exclusive, invitation-only structured program, to accelerate adoption of practical AI by Finance customers. 

We want you to use your architect and customer engagement skills to create proof of concepts, and dynamic demos that excite and spark the imagination of the potential customers. As a part of the Solution Architecture team you'll work with internal & external domain specialists to ensure the recommended design is optimal.

This role is very hands-on and requires a combination of a strategic solutions-oriented mindset, top notch communication skills, technical depth and ability to adapt to changing customer conditions and strong implementation skills.  Data Science and higher quality ML models are core to Petuum AI solutions and you will be required to maintain both conversational and technical competency in these areas.


  • Petuum AI solutions that will include high-volume, high-frequency, distributed, structured, unstructured and real time datasets
  • Design and implement advanced financial solutions, deploy existing Petuum Financial AI suite applications, and work with Petuum engineering and solutions team to build new state-of-the-art solutions on Petuum AI 
  • Responsible for the leadership and delivery of project-based assignments including proof-of-concept, analysis, design/architecture, deployment and support of any demonstration you design.
  • Technical authority on all our Petuum AI solutions, directly supporting Business Development executives, and working closely with the cross functional team to secure design wins.
  • Establish close technical ties to the customer account, establishing relationships with IT and digital business to facilitate rapid resolution of issues and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the customer’s business, IT, and center-of-excellence data science teams to demonstrate the capabilities of the Petuum platform.
  • Primary point of technical support for our Petuum AI solutions provided to customer. 


  • The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree with a strong background in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and be able to clearly present abstract concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, data science or Computer Science (or related field); advanced degree preferred.
  • You are an excellent and confident communicator and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams. You thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments and are comfortable wearing multiple hats when necessary.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial vertical domain in a solution architect role or enterprise technical customer support role.
  • Experienced in working with customers to develop or deploy new business solutions for Finance and Financial Analytics.
  • Experience with relational databases (any vendor).
  • Experience with the development or implementation of enterprise and/or cloud software; machine learning or IIoT preferred.
  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques.
  • Ability and flexibility for frequent domestic travel to customer/prospect sites and field events (trade shows, seminars, etc.).


  • Previous startup experience.
  • Programming experience.
  • PaaS, SaaS, IaaS and business intelligence/analytics implementation experience are a plus.
  • Previous experience with customer deployment of PI System for advanced analytics at Finance/Banking customers.
  • Domain expertise in certain key industries (Finance, Accounting, Banking) is a strong plus.
