Position Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Introduction:
The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for implementing best-practice policies to ensure the accurate and timely processing of monthly accounting functions. The role and duties require a hands-on, self-starting, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual with an eye for process improvement and a knack for working independently in a high-volume environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform General Accounting and other related duties for the organization
- Review Bank Reconciliations Monthly
- Monthly Balance Sheet and Account Analysis
- Bi-weekly Payroll and Benefits entries and allocations
- Support monthly financial close process
- Support the Accounts Payable mailbox and Airbase invoice processing
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
- Provide external auditors with assistance, gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
- Work within multiple entities to ensure standard processes are being followed across the organization
- Evaluate processes and procedures to identify areas that can be improved for better efficiency and controls through automation
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Assist with projects and ad hoc requests as necessary
Here’s what you have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required
- 5+ years of Accounting experience
- ERP system experience in SAGE Intacct, procurement, or a similar system is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets required
- Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; position is highly visible in the company

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary of $75,000 with a range between $70,000 and $80,000 where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment
with qualifications and experience.
