Position Title: National Business Development Director, Talent Solutions Sales

Reports To: Executive Vice President, Talent Solutions 

Location: National,  inside the United States  

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Per Scholas seeks a Business Development professional with extensive staffing, account management and/or recruiting sales experience. This individual will come in with a goal of bringing in new business accounts and closing direct placements with a minimum $200,000+ annual billing goal.  

You will establish new Talent Solutions clients with a focus on connecting Per Scholas IT/Technical alumni to these clients. Success in this role is measured by achievement of sales revenue and meeting revenue goals. This position has a national scope.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • This position will leverage research driven approach to analyze business opportunities and develop and implement client pursuit strategies 
  • Develop strategies to increase staffing placements, scheduling and conducting client calls and presentations, with senior level hiring managers (VP/SVP) and client contacts, on Per Scholas’s capabilities.
  • Build relationships with prospective employers to identify and uncover their technology hiring needs and challenges.
  • Following a solutions-based selling approach, present Per Scholas Talent Solutions products to solve those hiring challenges with the goal of connecting our graduates to job opportunities. 
  • Successfully close direct placements with a $1m+ annual billing goal 
  • This person will need to collaborate internally with campus based Per Scholas staff and other national teams to connect Per Scholas Alumni to our employer clients. 
  • Builds sales pipelines and market plans to drive sales revenue and meet revenue goals.
  • Prospect and identify new opportunities and expand on existing opportunities to build our Direct placement Talent solutions sales. 
  • Provide consultative expertise and support as well as participate in client engagements of varying complexity including C-level engagements.
  • Use Salesforce to capture all sales activity to enable reporting and track performance goals.
  • Maintain real-time records in CRM (Salesforce.com) and active communication with clients
  • Analyze new trends and opportunities within the industry that will help you develop and maintain a strong understanding of the market and our competitors

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US

Professional Qualifications

  • Accountable for driving the business in a direction that ensures financial targets are met or exceeded on a consistent basis
  • Business development activities, for both technology and creative staffing services, with enterprise firms with large IT professionals utilization. 
  • Experience with developing relationships with C-suite executives
  • Proven ability to self-generate business development opportunities through a diverse combination of business development activities .
  • Demonstrated ability to bill $500k+ annually in direct Staffing/ Talent Acquisition/ Agency recruitment placements. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to conduct large and small group presentations.
  • Expert business knowledge to understand the business challenges that drive clients to implement the Information Technology Asset Recovery solution.
  • Critical thinking skills a must.
  • Strong research and analysis capabilities required.

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary of $80,000-,85,000 plus commission, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including alignment with qualifications and level of experience.
