POSITION TITLE: Associate, Alumni Engagement & Training (Admissions)

Summary
Per Scholas’ Alumni Engagement and Training, team is looking for an experienced admissions professional to help us cultivate an inclusive and innovative admissions process to keep the alumni network engaged in the onboarding process until they are officially enrolled in an alumni program.
National Alumni Admissions
- Review applications and communicate with alumni applicants daily.
- Lead the Onboarding process for Alumni programs ensuring all information, assessment expectations, and prerequisites are clearly communicated to learner candidates throughout the process.
- Implement the standard learning screening process across cycles, adapting the timeframe to the deadlines to meet the enrollment benchmark.
- Communicate Admissions progress to internal stakeholders, troubleshooting challenges related to pipeline and client demand.
- Lead regular information sessions for interested alumni learners.
- Manage the Per Scholas Alumni Slack Workspace, Linkedin, TikTok account & future social media accounts through active collaboration across the organization, including content creation, content editing, and posting using best practices for maximum engagement
- Support email communications via Hubspot to drive increased conversions and nurture meaningful alumni relationships
- Support the creation and distribution of the monthly Alumni newsletter to alumni. Providing comprehensive and personalized course updates and relevant industry news.
- Collaborate with Local and National Admissions Teams to ensure the admissions process is equitable, innovative, and accessible and drives the necessary number of quality applicants through the process.
Salesforce Admissions Operations
- Utilize Salesforce to track learner candidates through the admissions process, noting assessments, interview outcomes, and workflow status/admissions stage.
- Track all required enrollment solutions in Salesforce for each launched cohort.
- Manage the National Alumni teams’ progress to successfully reach expected demands by auditing/monitoring reporting tools to ensure pipeline and seat benchmarks are met.
Additional duties and special projects as deemed necessary to further support the success of the Alumni Engagement and Training Team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience with K-12 or Post-secondary education admissions
- Thrive in a fast past environment while maintaining a high degree of precision and an eye on team sustainability
- Highly responsive to requests/demands as communicated by colleagues and/or learners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as follow-up skills to coordinate with learners, team members, instructors, management, and other stakeholders
- Organizational skills and time management skills to keep projects on track to the finish
- Ability to balance learner-centric lens and approach with client-driven pressure
- Highest level of attention to detail and staying organized
- Ability to prioritize, execute tasks, and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Data management skills
- Strong emotional intelligence, persuasion, and influencing skills
- Functional expertise in navigating Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc)
- Functional expertise in navigating Salesforce and Hubspot, especially reports and automated workflows
Compensation
For this role specifically, we target 45,000 with a salary range of $39,000 - $45,000. The salary difference is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualifications and experience.
