About the Role 

Permutive has built an advertiser business that works with some of the most innovative advertisers in the world. Our platform connects brands directly with premium publishers. Using the Permutive infrastructure for data collaboration, we enable audience activation that respects consumer privacy and is non-reliant on an identifier to drive performance.

What you’ll be doing 

The role of Customer Success Manager - Advertising Operations is key to ensuring our success and will focus on managing the smooth operations of campaigns for the advertiser platform. You will work directly with our publisher and advertiser customers. The emphasis of this role will be on publishers, building and maintaining relations - ultimately ensuring continued satisfaction and participation with brands via the Advertiser Platform. 

This is a hybrid role; you’ll be responsible for maintaining relations with our publisher customers concerning advertiser opportunities, while also acting as ad operational support for the campaigns executed via the platform - ultimately ensuring the success of both parties.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

  • Reporting to the Head of Advertiser Customer Success, you will work closely with the Advertiser Customer Success team to ensure a smooth operational experience for publishers participating in advertiser campaigns using our platform. 
  • Maintaining and building supply into the Advertiser platform and owning publisher relationships on an ongoing basis. 
  • Ensure we deliver advertiser budgets, including ensuring Publishers have the correct technical setups and support to deliver campaigns successfully. 
  • Provide learnings and insights to the publishers on a monthly basis.
  • Own ongoing conversations with Publishers regarding our Advertiser platform, answering FAQs, proving strategic value, and keeping them up to date on advertiser learnings and product development.
  • Own publisher outreach comms regarding advertiser opportunities and campaigns, connecting publisher customers with advertisers where appropriate 
  • Own Permutive ‘best practice’ with regards ad ops processes for publisher and advertiser customers, this includes owning maintenance of documentation 
  • Working with Product and Engineering to troubleshoot any issues uncovered with the solution and collating feedback for circulation internally. 
  • Where necessary, working directly with brand or agency trading teams to assist in troubleshooting publisher deals activated from the DSP.

What you’ll need

  • A robust understanding of the Advertising ecosystem - DSPs, SSPs, CDPs - and how they all work together. 
  • A working understanding of SSPs and ad operations processes, namely Google Ad Manager. 
  • Client Services experience managing and presenting to publisher accounts with Sales, Revenue and Ad Operational leads. Ability to establish and maintain trust in a relationship with key stakeholders
  • A deep understanding of how a publisher tech stack works (for example, understanding the Ad Server / Pre Bid / Supply Side Platform)
  • Can manage a level of ambiguity in a changing ecosystem and is able to adapt to positioning and messaging to market needs.
  • Fantastic project management skills.
  • Experience identifying & implementing new processes which have positively impacted internal or external stakeholders

We’ll be excited if you also have… 

  • Hands-on experience launching, managing and optimising campaigns for an advertiser in a publisher business 
  • Exposure and experience working directly with brands and large media agencies 
  • Experience explaining new and complex product suites to publishers, particularly product marketing, and positioning experience.

What we are offering...

We take a structured, objective approach to salary-setting, which is based on marketing information, our compensation strategy, and your experience and capability assessed through our interview process. For a typical candidate who meets our requirements, we pay a base salary between £70,000 to £80,000 with a 20% performance bonus.
