About the role 

Permutive is hiring an experienced Country Manager to lead our expansion into Germany. This individual will lead our Sales team and drive our success in this region. This newly created role will initially report directly to the Global CRO.

With a commitment to investment in opening and building the German market, this role will be responsible for overseeing a new German Sales operation focused on new SaaS subscriptions to the Enterprise Publisher, Broadcaster, and Advertiser ecosystem in Germany. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced individual who is excited about the challenges and opportunities of growing a new region.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Directly leading and contributing towards building and growing Germany’s pipeline and revenue
  • Establishing both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting, leveraging Germany’s Sales pipeline and Key Target Accounts and identifying new market opportunities
  • Coaching, motivating and directing an Enterprise Sales team for Germany, guiding them to succeed at both exceeding revenue targets as individuals and as a collective team
  • Setting team and individual KPIs and holding your team members accountable, while creating an environment that brings out the best in everyone.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with internal teams (Product/Engineering, Marketing, Legal) to structure deals that maximise revenue for all stakeholders
  • Working with EMEA Sales Enablement, you will lead, develop and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to a highly targeted Enterprise Publisher / Advertising / Broadcasting market
  • You will partner closely with Marketing and other functions to architect and execute a well-oiled machine to drive pipeline conversion
  • Implementing tools and scalable processes to nurture the pipeline, track and report progress, and accurately forecast revenue
  • Synthesise customer feedback and help inform and drive our Product roadmap for the German market
  • Represent Permutive at Industry events as a Subject Matter Expert and as a key player and influencer within the entire ecosystem

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • A wealth of Enterprise Software / SaaS complex Enterprise sales experience on top of proven and successful leadership experience 
  • A proven ability to build and lead the German territory within SaaS Software Enterprise Sales
  • Ideally, you will be coming from the Data Management Platform / Customer Management Platform ecosystem selling into the Publisher / Advertising / Broadcasting space
  • A proven ability to build and coach Enterprise SaaS salespeople to guide, improve and develop and sustain a high-performing Sales Team
  • A solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting, with proven analytical capability and outstanding attention to detail
  • A track record of setting and meeting ambitious targets through motivating Sales teams to consistently overachieve
  • Top interpersonal skills and EQ skills; you will be adept at working effectively with key internal and external decision-makers
  • Experience leading C-Level meetings and speaking at industry events; you enjoy being a Subject Matter Expert and sharing, influencing, and leading industry opinions

  • A credible working history within the Publisher / Digital Platform space in Germany
  • Played an instrumental part in building the German territory in your current or previous role(s)
  • A proven experience in sales/leadership with Data Management Platforms
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm towards the specific opportunities/use of management and opportunities of First Party Data

Our approach to Remote First

Permutive is a remote first company. We also have an office presence in London and New York. From March 2022, all employees have optional access to a permanent in-person collaboration space in NYC and London. You are expected to do your primary work from home however everyone at Permutive has the option to spend as much (or as little) time as they need working from our office spaces. As a company, we gather in person at least once per quarter for different company-wide events.
