About the Role..

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our growing Legal team and be our first contracts hire to manage the scaling and adoption of Permutive’s global commercial contracts.

You will be joining us at an exciting time as our company, people and product grow and we expand our technology to serve publishers and advertisers. You will partner closely with all teams across the business to support the contracts and commercial terms processes globally.

What you'll be doing...

  • Responsible for global contract management including implementation and development of scalable processes for the sales team
  • Supporting the scaling and adoption of Permutive’s commercial terms
  • Ensuring management of customer & supplier contracts, terms and conditions
  • Supporting the preparation of commercial tenders 
  • Reviewing, commenting on and supporting contract negotiations
  • Consolidating commercial feedback and properly reflecting on the feedback by marking up and providing commentary on change controls
  • Supporting procurement as appropriate with the negotiation and drafting of supplier contracts
  • Preparing contract summaries for projects and identifying key risks & mitigations
  • Assisting in developing precedents, playbooks, and process checklists for common types of contractual changes 

What you’ll need...

  • Significant commercial experience in contract management 
  • Technically proficient experience working in a legal role specifically in relation to contract analysis
  • Some experience working within a fast-paced & high growth environment 
  • Commercial experience working with a growing sales team
  • Strong attention to detail

We take a structured, objective approach to salary-setting, which is based on market information, our compensation strategy, and your experience and capability as assessed through our interview process. For a candidate who fits our criteria, we'd pay around £65,000 - £85,000 + options.

Our approach to Remote First
Permutive is a remote first company. We also have an office presence in London and New York. All employees have optional access to a permanent in-person collaboration space in NYC and London. You are expected to do your primary work from home however everyone at Permutive has the option to spend as much (or as little) time as they need working from our office spaces. As a company, we gather in person at least once per quarter for different company-wide events.
