About the Role...

As a Sales Director based in Europe, you will help the world's leading publishers understand how Permutive’s technology can help them unlock the value of their user data and sell them solutions which match their requirements. Our Sales Directors need to demonstrate expertise in technology, solution based selling and forging close relationships with our customers. The Sales team works closely with various other teams within Permutive including Engineering and Customer Success, ensuring our technology drives measurable outcomes for our publishers.

This is a great opportunity to join a successful Sales team and help shape our European sales strategy. Our current team has already forged partnerships with The Guardian, Hubert Burda Media, The Financial Times, Unify, Conde Nast and Hearst. 

You'll also work closely with innovative customers to learn how they measure and deliver ROI and to explore their ideas for new use cases.

What you’ll be doing...

  • Running the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to signing contracts
  • Working with existing customers to negotiate and renew contracts as well as upsell them with new products and services 
  • Developing and executing a Sales Plan to achieve annual and quarterly targets
  • Communicating the benefits of the Permutive platform to a variety of audiences, including executive level decision-makers
  • Producing and delivering tailored sales presentations
  • Working with Sales Engineers who support Sales around technical requirements and demos
  • Working closely with internal teams, including Engineering and Customer Success
  • Keeping up-to-date with relevant competitive solutions, products and industry trends
  • Attending industry meetings, conferences and networking events

What you’ll need...

  • Significant experience in Enterprise SaaS sales 
  • Commercial experience managing annual contract value greater than £200k with deal cycles lasting 6 months or more
  • Experience selling into C-Suite decision makers
  • A consistent track record of success; your quota attainment over the last few years has been consistently 100% or more
  • Proven ability to lead complex sales processes at Enterprise level
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present confidently and negotiate at a senior level
  • Knowledge of MEDDIC or similar qualification methodology is preferred

What we're offering...

If you have experience in most of the areas we are looking for, we would likely pay a base salary of £80,000 + commission + options.

If you have all the required experience we'd pay a base salary up to £100,000 + commission + options.

Our Bonus Structure...

If you join Permutive as a Sales Director with a base salary of £80,000 and reach 100% quota attainment in a year, your OTE for that year will be around £160,000 to £200,000. The true earning potential is significantly higher as we have generous accelerators to reward excellent performance and 100% quota attainment is our minimum expectation for our Sales Directors.

Our approach to Remote First
Permutive is a remote first company. We also have an office presence in London and New York. From March 2022, all employees have optional access to a permanent in-person collaboration space in NYC and London. You are expected to do your primary work from home however everyone at Permutive has the option to spend as much (or as little) time as they need working from our office spaces. As a company, we gather in person at least once per quarter for different company-wide events.
